1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site or Services, creating an account, enrolling in a program, or clicking “I agree,” you accept these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

2) Eligibility & Student Status

  • Age: You must be 13+ to create an account; learners under 18 require parental/guardian consent where applicable.

  • Territory: Services are intended for U.S. residents; if you access from other regions, you are responsible for local compliance.

  • No professional license: Completion of our programs does not confer a medical license or state-authorized professional credential. You are responsible for understanding state-specific scope of practice, business licensing, and advertising rules.

3) Educational Nature; No Medical Advice

  • Content is educational only and focuses on wellness and lifestyle practices for Naturopathic Counselors.

  • We do not provide health care services, medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions.

  • Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of program content or coaching. In emergencies, call 911.

4) Accounts & Security

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep credentials confidential.

  • Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use or security incident.

  • We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms or applicable law.

5) Payments, Billing & Refunds

  • Pricing & taxes: Prices are shown at checkout and may vary by cohort or promotion; taxes and fees may apply.

  • Payment processors: We use third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers.

  • Installments/subscriptions: If offered, you authorize automatic charges on the schedule you select until cancelled or completed.

  • Refund policy: Unless a cohort-specific policy states otherwise in writing at purchase, tuition is non-refundable after access to core course materials has been granted. If a statutory right of rescission applies in your state, we will honor it.

  • Chargebacks: You agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting support; we may suspend access during disputes.

  • Discounts & coupons: Non-transferable, cannot be combined unless expressly allowed, and may be revoked for abuse.

6) Access; Availability; Modifications

  • 100% online: Courses, workshops, and labs are delivered online through our LMS and video platforms.

  • Availability: We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, re-sequence, or update content, assessments, and features to improve quality or comply with law.

  • Cohort changes: We may adjust session dates, coaches, or formats; materially adverse changes will be communicated with reasonable alternatives.

7) Certificates; Career & Compliance

  • Certificates of completion indicate successful program completion; they are not a medical or state license.

  • You are solely responsible for complying with your state’s business, scope of practice, and marketing rules for Naturopathic Counselors or wellness providers.

  • We do not guarantee employment, income, or client outcomes.

8) Acceptable Use & Community Standards

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Services for unlawful purposes or to violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights.

  2. Hold yourself out as a medical professional or provide medical diagnosis/treatment through our platforms.

  3. Upload protected health information (PHI) or confidential client data; if you discuss cases, use de-identified or hypothetical scenarios and obtain lawful consent where required.

  4. Infringe intellectual property; copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent access controls.

  5. Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code; interfere with platform operation.

  6. Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others; share illegal, hateful, or pornographic content.

  7. Share or resell accounts, access, course files, or coaching materials without written permission.

We may remove content or terminate access for violations.

9) Intellectual Property

  • Our IP: The Site, the French Method frameworks (including the 3 Cures), text, graphics, videos, templates, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by IP laws.

  • Your license: We grant enrolled learners a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal, non-commercial educational use during and after enrollment (subject to these Terms).

  • Your content: You retain rights in your submissions (assignments, projects, forum posts). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use such content to operate the Services, improve pedagogy, and (with your consent when required) feature testimonials.

  • Prohibited uses: You may not reproduce, distribute, perform, or prepare derivative works from course content except as allowed by law or these Terms.

10) User Content; Feedback

  • You are responsible for your submissions and represent that you have necessary rights and that they comply with law.

  • If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

11) Third-Party Services & Links

The Services may integrate or link to third-party sites, tools, or platforms (e.g., video, chat, payments, analytics). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices; their terms and privacy policies apply.

12) Privacy

Use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy (https://www.altermedic-center.us/). It explains what we collect, how we use/share data, cookie choices, and your rights (including opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising where applicable). Contact: contact@altermedic-center.us.

13) Publicity; Testimonials

If you consent to provide a testimonial, review, or case study, you authorize us to use it (and your name/likeness as provided) in accordance with the consent terms you sign. You may withdraw consent as permitted by law.

15) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. 17) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AlterMedic Center USA and its affiliates from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your content; (c) your violation of these Terms or law; or (d) your interactions with learners/clients outside our platforms.

18) Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

  • Informal resolution: Contact us first at contact@altermedic-center.us; most issues can be resolved quickly.

  • Binding arbitration: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act and the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) (Consumer Arbitration Rules), rather than in court, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

  • No class actions: You and AlterMedic Center USA agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

  • Opt-out: You may opt-out of this arbitration clause by emailing contact@altermedic-center.us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

  • Venue & law for non-arbitrable claims: For any claim not subject to arbitration, the parties consent to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

19) Force Majeure

We will not be liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, internet outages, platform provider failures, labor disputes, or governmental actions.

20) Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms and updating the Effective Date (and additional notice where required by law). Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

21) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or unlawful activity. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections intended to survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limits of liability, arbitration) will survive.

22) Export & Sanctions Compliance

You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country or person subject to U.S. sanctions. You agree to comply with U.S. export control and sanctions laws.

23) Entire Agreement; Severability; Assignment

These Terms (plus applicable order forms, written cohort terms, and our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or successor.

24) Notices & Contact

Notices to us must be sent to contact@altermedic-center.us. We may notify you via the email associated with your account or by posting on the Site.

25) State-Specific Terms (Education & Advertising)

  • You must comply with your state’s business licensing rules before charging clients.

  • Advertising and client communications must follow state consumer protection rules; no medical claims or disease claims. We provide guidance on compliant wording within the program.

  • Some states restrict the use of the titles “Naturopathic Doctor” or “ND”; our programs use “Naturopathic Counselor/Practitioner” for clarity.
